Varena M. Morey, 82, Blue Ridge Haven West, East Pennsboro Township, died Monday, Jan. 4, 1988, in Holy Spirit Hospital. She was the wife of the late Rev. George Howard Morey. She was born in Galt, Iowa, to the late Cassius Monroe Severe and Daisy M. Bristor. She was a former resident of The Towne House Apartments, Lebanon, where she lived for 8 years. Surviving are daughters Edith G. Morey, Austin, Mn., Althea P., wife of Richard Wentzel, Pipestone, Mn., and Elgie G., wife of John Hillanbrand, Philadelphia; sons Lloyd G. Morey, Yost, Utah and Eldon R. Morey, Lebanon; 44 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; a sister, Myrtle Clausen, Mill Valley, Ca.; a brother, Cassius Severe, Bagley, Mn., and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Myrtle M. Anderberry, and a son, Maynard B. Morey.
