Donald L. Haack, 55, of 620 S.E. Dunham Ave., died of leukemia Wednesday at Veterans Hospital after a two-year illness. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, with burial in Glendale Cemetery. Mr. Haack was born in Woolstock and had lived in Des Moines 17 years. Before retiring due to disability two years ago, he was a truck driver for Home Oil Co., and was a member of Teamsters Union Local 90. He was an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Vivian; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Duane Beisell of Eagle Grove; two stepsons, Donald Sheriff of Sweet Springs, Mo., and Ronald Sheriff of Kansas City, Mo., and nine grandchildren.
