Services for Josephine M. Thompson 78, who died of cancer Thursday, Sept. 29th at Riverview Manor, 701 Riverview St. were held at 9:00 A. M., Oct. 1st at Hamilton's Funeral Home in Des Moines.

A second service was held at 1:30 at the Lutheran Church in Holmes. Miss Thompson, a retired Registered nurse was born at Leland, Ill., April 7th, 1888. She came here three years ago from Minneapolis. She had attended Northwestern Bible School in Minneapolis and was a member of Calvary Lutheran church there.

Surviving are three sisters, Mary Thompson of Des Moines and Mrs. Orville Joseph and Mrs. Raymond Long of Goldfield.
