April 16, 1860 – November 6, 1939

Mrs. A. Stracke died early Monday morning after a lingering illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock at the Kubltschek & Kastler funeral home in charge of the Rev. J. R. Tumbleson. The remains were shipped to Kansas City, Mo., the former home of Mrs. Stracke, and interment was made in Mt. Washington cemetery. A. Stracke and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Stracke went to Kansas City for the burial.

Adle [Adalie] Coons was born at Westerville, Ohio, April 16, 1890 [1860]. Her early life was spent in Ohio. She married Alexander Stracke in 1922 and came to Eagle Grove where she has made her home.

There remain, besides her husband, one son, two daughters, six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Those from out of town who attended the funeral of Mrs. Stracke were her daughters. Mrs. Louise Boynton and Miss Elizabeth Hunter, and grandsons, Clyde and Horace Hunter of Kansas City, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Carlson, Mrs. M. Lambertson, Mrs. C. Johnson and C. Joachim of Pocahontas, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Bloomer and daughter, Grace, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hilton of Havelock.
