MARSHALLTOWN, IA. –Services for Talford Middleton, 82, of Marshalltown, who died of cancer Friday at his home, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church here. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Mr. Middleton was born in Eagle Grove and lived in Marshalltown 41 years. He was a retired fire equipment salesman for Hooker Supply Co. and Ed Feld Equipment Co. and was a member of First United Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth; three daughters, Ina May Gaskin of Summertown, Tenn., Jane Middleton of San Rafael, Calif., and Sara Canade of Marshalltown; one sister, Myra Savage of Salem; and nine grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Iowa River Hospice in Marshalltown.

Friends may call after noon today at Pursel-Davis Funeral Home in Marshalltown.

Word has been received of the death of Tolford [Talford] Middleton, 82, of Marshalltown.

He was born in Eagle Grove and was the son of Adam and Mamie Middleton.
