Ole Gotskalksen Heggen
2 March 1821 ---- August 9, 1895

Mr. Haggan, father of Lewis and Gilbert Haggen, died in this city Friday morning after an illness of several months, at the ripe old age of 76 years. The funeral services were held in the East Lutheran Church Saturday at 10 a. m., Rev. Holm officiating, after which the interment took place in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mr. H. was born in Norway and has been in this country but a few years. He was a frugal and industrious man who has gone to his reward. Peace to his ashes.
