Yolanda M. Ames, 82, Oak Glen Home, Coal Valley, Illinois died Thursday, March 21, 1996, at Trinity Medical Center, East Campus, Moline. Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at First Methodist Church, Nashua, Iowa, where she was a longtime member. Burial is in Greenwood Cemetery, Nashua. Visitation is 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Chenoweth and Sons Funeral Home, Nashua.

The former Yolanda M. Bouillon was born Jan. 15, 1914, in Wright County, Iowa, the daughter of Gus and Mary Bouillon. She married Cecil O. Ames in 1935. He died July 26, 1985. She served as activities chairman for many years.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, John G. and Shirlie Ames, Moline; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Josette Bailey, Dixon, Ill., and Violet Martin, Charles City, Iowa; and a brother, Ransom Bouillon.
