Ella Mae Faessler Kastler
9 December 1875 ---- 17 December 1960

Mrs. Ella Mae Kastler Funeral Held In Sacred Heart Church
Final rites for Mrs Ella Mae Kastler, 85, were held Tuesday morning in Sacred Heart Catholic church. Rev. Maurice Mullan read the requiem mass at 9:30 o'clock and interment followed in Calvary Cemetery. Pall bearers were: William Forbes, Roger Keppers, Matt Thielen, George Vilmain, John Henneberry and Thos. Kenefick, Sr.

Mrs. Kastler died Saturday morning in a hospital in Springfield, Mo. where she had been for some time. Mrs. Kastler, who lived at 600 East Broadway, became ill several weeks ago, and was moved by ambulance to Springfield, Mo. where her only son George and family reside. She had surgery and was in the hospital for some time and her death was not unexpected.

Mrs. Kastler's husband, the late George Kastler, was an engineer for the Chicago and North Western railroad and Mrs. Kastler was active in the G.I.A to the B. of L.E. lodge. She was a past president of the group and had held other offices. She was a long time member of Sacred Heart Catholic church, and served as treasurer of Calvary Cemetery Ass'n. for a good many years.

Here for the funeral from out-of-town were Mr. and Mrs. George Kastler and son Billy of Springfield.
