Alvin B. Muklebust of Boulder passed away Friday, May 27, 2008 in Centennial, Colorado. He was 68. He was born on April 26, 1940 to Willis and Edna Muklebust in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Alvin married Barbara Erickson (Muklebust) on October 21, 1967 in Badger, Iowa. They moved to Colorado in 1967. Alvin graduated from Ft. Dodge Community College and Buena Vista College. Where he received a degree in Accounting.

He worked as an accountant for Rocky Flats. His interests include: coin and stamp collecting, including many years serving as President of the Denver Coin Club, Volunteering at church, Denver Broncos, Camping, and Spending time with his family.

Faith was the center of Al's life. His faith made his family strong, touched those around him and drew many people to church. Al was someone who made friends with everyone he met. He loved to talk with people and could find common ground with anyone. He was big-hearted and always looked for ways he could serve others. He also always had a smile to share and loved to joke around. The Denver Broncos were Al's favorite team

and we often heard him say, "Go Broncos!" Al loved to spend time with his grandkids, attending games, fishing, making malts or doing anything the kids wanted to do with Papa. We will especially miss his sense of humor, creativity, generosity, enthusiasm for the grandkids and expressions of his love.

A memorial service will be held at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 3485 Stanford Ct., Boulder, Colorado Saturday, May 31, 2008 at 2:00 p.m.
