Earl E. Sheller, 79, of Port Orchard, Washington died Dec. 11, 1996 at Harrison Memorial Hospital.
He was born Dec. 1, 1917, in Curlew, Iowa, where he graduated from Belmond High School [Belmond, Iowa]. On March 29, 1942, he married his wife, Jean [Soma], in Omaha, Neb. Mr. Sheller served in the Army Air Corps from 1941-45 and was a barber for 40 years, retiring in 1990.

Survivors include his wife, Jean; two sons, Keith of Bellingham and Dale of Clearwater, Fla.; a daughter, Janis Corey of Port Orchard; three brothers, Lyle of Apple Valley, Calif., Roy of Fresno, Calif., and Don of Paradise, Calif.; two sisters, Dorothy Bachman of Orland, Calif., and Marjorie Howard of Ventura, Calif.; and five grandchildren.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to noon Dec. 14 at Rill Chapel. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Dec. 16 at Bethany Lutheran Church, 151 Tremont West, Port Orchard. Memorials may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church.
