Page 8, Column 3Herman Klinger died after a brief illness with pneumonia in his home in the 4th ward, Friday at 5 o'clock a. m. Mr. Klinger was 46 years of age and a native of Germany. He leaves a wife and five children to mourn his loss. He was a member of the Ind. Order of Foresters and the M. W. A., carrying $1000 insurance in each. The funeral was held in the Congregational church Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Drake preaching the sermon. The funeral ceremonies were in charge of the M. W. A., camp and the burial was according to the beautiful ritual of that order.
The oldest of the surviving children, Herman, is the son of his first wife who was buried in Germany. Of the children of this family the oldest is seven years and the youngest three. Mr. Klinger owned his home in the 4th ward and was a kind and generous father and a faithful husband. The Royal Neighbors contributed beautiful and elaborate floral decorations for the casket.
