Emmet Oliver Engleby, the son of Cornelius and Anna Engleby was born in Eagle Grove, Iowa, October 17th, 1908, and lived here till a few years ago, when he moved with his family to Northwood, Iowa; During the greater part of the winter he has been in somewhat poor health and the last eight weeks, he has been confined to his bed. He passed away last Friday noon, May 26th, aged 13 years, 7 months and 9 days. His father passed away December 2nd, 1913. He leaves his mother, Mrs. Lew Farland, and one sister, Lenora Engleby. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the East Side Lutheran church. Interment was in Rose Hill cemetery.
