Services for Furman E. Helmer, 49, who died Sunday in Portland, Ore., will be at 3:30 p.m. today in the Chapel of Memories, A. L. Moore and Sons, 333 W. Adams. The Rev. Arthur Irmer will officiate. Burial will be Greenwood Memorial Park in Phoenix.

Mr. Ferman Helmer, a former resident of Phoenix, was born in Goldfield, Iowa. A railroad postal clerk, he was a member of the Moose Lodge in Rock Island, Ill. He is survived by his wife. Verna June, Portland; a daughter, Mrs. Etta Walty. Phoenix: and three other daughters and two sisters, all out of state.
