William Veeder, a prominent and wealthy young farmer, was killed near Belmond, Wright county, on the 21st, by falling from his horse and breaking his neck while riding after cattle.

Find-a-Grave shows he is buried in Belmond Cemetery and was born March 27, 1867 and died November 21, 1905.
