GLADYS PATRICIA THOMPSON

Gladys Patricia Infelt was born in Des Moines, Iowa, to Nicholas and Grace Infelt. She lived in Des Moines most of her life and lived in Long Beach, Calif., for 20 years. She retired in 1966 from Iowa Children's Home Society. She married Tillman "Tommy" Thompson who grew up in Eagle Grove and was a former Iowa DCI Chief. She is a former member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

Gladys Patricia Thompson died Tuesday, September 9, 1997, at the Kavanagh House on Grand in Des Moines at the age of 80.

Survivors include a son, John Thompson, Lakewood, Calif.; a daughter, Judy Montano, Des Moines; 2 sisters Clara Doal, Des Moines, and Jeanne Stevens, Long Beach, Calif.; 7 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside services and burial were held on Saturday, September 13, 1997 at 11 a.m. at the. Rose Hill Cemetery in Eagle Grove.

Southtown Funeral Home, Des Moines, was in charge of arrangements.
