FRANK MCNULTY RITES PLANNED

Goodell Resident Was Rock Island Foreman, Businessman

GOODELL—Frank McNulty, 75, died at the home of his son Frances here Monday morning. He had been in failing health due to heart trouble for several years and in recent months was confined to bed.

Funeral services will be held at Mary's Catholic church here Wednesday morning at 9:30 o'clock with the Rev. Father Ormsby of Belmond in charge. Burial will be in the Belmond Catholic cemetery.

Mr. McNulty was born in Shipman, Ill., and moved to Goodell at the age of 17. One year later he became section foreman for the Rock Island road here which position he held until his health failed he retired and was pensioned.

He also owned and operated the Goodell pool hall and opera house until his health failed.

He was married in 1890 to Katharine Goggins of Goodell, who died in 1936. A daughter, Florence, died at the age of 20 in 1919.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mayme Lorden of Chicago, a son, Francis, of Goodell, six grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Mary Sullivan of Mason City and a brother, Tom, of Belmond.
