Mrs. Frank R. Ingersoll died at the home of her sister, Mrs. F. B. Andrews, Sunday evening, Dec. 19, after an illness of several months duration. For several years her husband was agent at the Great Western depot, leaving here, in 1904 for St, Paul, where they have since made their home. About three months ago Mrs. Ingersoll was brought to Eagle Grove and since that time has received every possible care and ministration at the home of her sister, Mrs. Andrews. The sympathy of all is extended to the bereaved sisters and other relatives.

Obituary
(By Rev. W. G. Muhleman)

Eva Malinda Bliss was born at Gowrie, la., Sept. 11, 1877. She lived here till she was 17 years of age, then moved to Ft. Dodge, Ia., where she took nurse's training.

On Dec. 23, 1895, she was united in marriage to Frank R. Ingersoll. They lived in Ft. Dodge and Eagle Grove for a while, then in 1904 they moved to St. Paul, Minn., where they have since lived. She passed away, after a lingering illness, at the home of her sister, Mrs. Frank Andrews, on Sunday evening, Dec. 19, 1927, at the age of 50 years, 3 months, and 7 days.

In early womanhood she united with the Congregational church in which she has been an active worker. She was a woman of the highest Christian integrity. She was the embodiment of all of those graces, which go to make up beautiful Christian womanhood. She was faithful as a wife and friend. No one ever knew her to do a selfish thing nor to refuse to do a kindness, no matter how small it was. It can be truly said of her, “After life's fitful fever she sleeps well."

Her pure and saintly life brings a blessed solace to the bereft husband and relatives, the assurance of a blessed, immortality and a certain reunion in the heavenly world.
