Dick Rusley funeral Monday
Richard A. Rusley, 65, died at his home at the Rotary Ann Apartments, Friday after a lengthy illness. During the past several months he had undergone surgery and has been hospitalized many times. He is survived by his wife, one son Roger of Denver, Colo.; one sister, Mrs. Raymond Nugent of Mason City; and four grandsons. Mr. Rusley was a clerk for the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad for many years, and in later years also worked in the offices of the Umthun Trucking Co. Funeral services were held Monday morning at the Kastler - Babcock - DeYoung Funeral Home, and Rev. Norman White officiated. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Roger Rusley were here for the funeral services.

Richard A. Rusley was born October 9, 1909, at Leland, Ia., the son of Sever and Annie Bakken Rusley. He graduated from school at Mason City, and Business College at Mason City. He was united in marriage to Lila Ingraham of Mason City on October 9, 1930, at Rockwell, Ia. The couple made their home in Mason City until 1943, when they moved to Eagle Grove. Mr. Rusley worked as a clerk for the Chicago Northwestern Railroad, and was also employed by the Umthun Truck Lines. He had been ill for some time, and died at his home in Eagle Grove on Friday, October 11, at the age of 65 years and 2 days. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, one son, Roger Rusley, Denver, Colo, and one sister, Mrs. Raymond Nugent, Mason City and four grandsons.

Funeral services were held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Kastler - Babcock - DeYoung Funeral Home. Rev. Norman White officiated and burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
