February 26, 1923 ---- June 17, 1963

Don Yoder, a 41-year old Woolstock truck driver, died suddenly about noon yesterday at Rochester, N.Y. shortly after having suffered a heart attack. He was dead on arrival at a hospital. Mr. Yoder, a driver for Ellsworth Truck lines of Eagle Grove, had reportedly just completed helping to unload his truck when he became ill. Funeral services are pending, and the body will lie in state at the Kastler funeral home in Eagle Grove following its arrival there late today. Mr. Yoder had been employed by the Ellsworth lines for the past 12 years. He is survived by his wife and four children.

WOOLSTOCK - Funeral services for Donald Yoder, 41, will be held at the Methodist church in Woolstock Friday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Leon Wallace officiating. Mr. Yoder died suddenly Monday morning at Rochester, N.Y. following a heart attack. He is survived by his wife; four children, Ronnie, who is with the army in Germany, Debbie, Danny and Denise, all at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Grover Yoder; seven sisters and a brother and three half-brothers.

Mr. Yoder had been employed by the Ellsworth Truck Lines of Eagle Grove for the past 12 years. He reportedly had just completed unloading his truck at Rochester when he suffered the heart attack.

Funeral Services For Donald Yoder Held June 21
Services were held for Donald Yoder on Friday at the Methodist Church with burial in the Cass Cemetery. He was stricken with a fatal heart attack and died in a Rochester, New York, hospital on June 17th. Born Feb. 26, Boone Township, Wright County, Donald was educated in the Renwick and country schools near Woolstock and made his home here all his life. He served in England with the army during W.W. II. He is survived by his,wife, Marjorie, a son Ronnie Fortune serving with the army in Germany, two children Danny Lee and Donna Diane and an adopted child Debbie. Other survivors are his parents Mr. and Mrs. Grover Yoder of Woolstock, four brothers and seven sisters, Martin, Cedric, Grover Jr., Mrs. Venitta Keppler, Mrs. Emile Hanus and Terry Yoder all of Woolstock; Bernard of Tacoma, Wash.; Mrs. Margaret Stengland of Jewell; Mrs. Lila LaRue and Mrs. Francis Lindstrom of Eagle Grove; and Mrs. Kay Smith of Des Moines.
