Roger Dean Sherman was born May 26,1953, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, to Don and Dorothy Nelson Sherman.He grew up and attended schools in Eagle Grove, Iowa. He served in the United States Army from 1972 -1981. He married Sheryl Kulow on May 22, 1981, at Bethel Lutheran Church in Graettinger, Iowa. The couple settled in Eagle Grove. He was employed at Ag Processing in Eagle Grove. He was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America in Fort Dodge.

Roger Dean Sherman died Friday, November 17, 2000, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident near Webster City, Iowa, at the age of 47 years, S months, and 21 days.

He is survived by his wife, Sheryl Sherman, Eagle Grove; two daughters, Christina and Nicole; Eagle Grove; his mother, Dorothy Sherman of Eagle Grove; and one sister, Deanne Brown, and husband, Ron, Grand River; and one brother, Loran Sherman, and wife, Jane, Mesa, Arizona.

He was preceded in death by his father, Don Sherman in August of 1988; and an infant brother, Jerry.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, November 22, 2000, at 2 p.m., at the Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Reverends Paul and Susan Stone officiating. Burial will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery Eagle Grove.

Memorials are preferred lo go to the Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran Church Sunday School.

Kulow Funeral Service of Echo, Minn., was in charge of the arrangements.
