Virginia Carol Minor, 58, of Goldfield, died April 3, 1999 at the North Iowa Mercy Health Center in Mason City, Iowa. The funeral services were held Tuesday, April 6 at 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Clarion. Rev. Charles Kellogg officiated. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Clarion.

Virginia Carol Minor was born on January 27, 1941 at Clarion, Iowa to George and Bessie (Barnes) State. She attended country school by Galt, and later, Clarion High School. On January 21, 1978, she married Gary Minor at Goldfield, Iowa.

She is survived by husband Gary Minor of Goldfield, children; Robert William Roberts and wife Alice of LeGrand, Iowa, Deborah Adams and husband Duane of Clarion, Wade Guy Roberts of Clarion and Tamara Mae Roberts of Eagle Grove, seven grandchildren; Todd, Neil, Jaime, Kasey, Garrette, William and Elizabeth, three sisters; Darlene Borel and husband Don, Jean Wilson and husband Wayne, and Marilyn Amsbaugh all of Clarion.
