Norma Jean Larson, age 82, of Algona, passed away Monday, January 14, 2019 at Kossuth Regional Health Center in Algona. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Grace Church in Algona with Rev. Patrick Mostek officiating. Burial will take place at Blossom Hill Cemetery in Badger. Visitation will be held on Thursday from Noon until the time of the service at Grace Church in Algona.

Norma Jean Larson, the daughter of Clifford Bernie and Mable Berdella (Heggen) Jacobson was born in Humboldt, Iowa on June 28, 1936. She attended country school and graduated from High School in 1954. Norma was united in marriage to Gene Larson in Goldfield, Iowa in 1985. Norma loved babysitting and working as a Nanny for families. She enjoyed traveling, hiking, mountain climbing, baking and helping her husband, Gene, farm.

Left to cherish Norma’s memory are her siblings, Darlene Jacobson of Algona, Carol (Jean) Jacobson of Lake City and Jake (Barbara) Jacobson of Council Bluffs. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gene in 2014 and brother, James Jacobson.
