Klotzbach rites at EUB church

Funeral services were held Thursday at the EUB church in Goodell for Levi Edward Klotzbach 81. He died at the Hancock County Memorial hospital on Tuesday of last week.

Born March 18, 1880, in Giard, Clayton county, he was the son of John and Catherine Hahn Klotzbach. He was married to Esther Sampson on Oct. 8, 1908. He spent most of his life in the Klemme and Goodell communities. The last few years he lived with a daughter, Mrs. Walter (Phyllis) Braner, in Goodell. Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Ilo Smock of Hampton and Mrs. Braner; four sons, Alan of Chisholm, Minn., Floyd of Ottona, O., Walter of Monona and Louis of Zearing; also three sisters, four brothers, 22 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Rev. Forrest Lay officiated over the final rites. Burial was in the family lot in the Ell Township cemetery, Klemme.
