Leaves Wife and 2 Small Children

Funeral services for Lavon O. Tue, 27, were conducted at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon from the Klemme Methodist Church with the Rev. E. Morris Egeland in charge. Mr. Tue was a veteran of World War II, died last Wednesday morning, May 5, at his home just east of Klemme as a result of monoxide poisoning. He was a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and as such was accorded military honors at the services by the local post of the Legion. Mr. Tue who was employed by the Wynn Oil Company, leaves a wife and two small children, and many other relatives and friends. Interment was in the Ell Township Cemetery at Klemme and he was carried to his final resting place by his nephews, Ronald Low, Charles Low, Roger Tue, Harold Nelson, Larry Foss, and Paul Foss.

Man and Dog Found Dead

Klemme - Coroner Kenneth Boughton of Britt and Deputy R. E. Nesbitt of Garner are investigating the death of Lavon O. Tue, 28, of Klemme, who was found dead Wednesday morning in his car in a garage on the Ed Barz farm where he lived. The body of his dog was with him. Officials said death was due to carbon monoxide gas. The body was found by Ed Barz about 7:45 a.m. He notified authorities. It is believed death occurred about midnight. Tue, a salesman for the Wynn Oil Co., of Klemme, was married to Ruth Stille, daughter of Mrs. Helen Stille and the late Lester Stille of Klemme. Mrs. Tue came home Tuesday from the Hancock County Memorial Hospital at Britt following the birth of a son. They also have a son, Gregory, 2 1/2. Tue's relatives live in the Northwood vicinity.
