Goodell, Iowa - Funeral services for Robert Roths, 71, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Goodell EUB Church. The Rev. Forrest Lay and the Rev. Park Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Amsterdam Cemetery with Bohn Funeral Home, Garner in charge. Mr. Roths died of a heart attack Sunday at Prairie View Nursing Home.

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Roths, he was born April 21, 1894 on a farm northeast of Goodell. He was married Oct. 29, 1919, to Nettie Bachman of Goodell. They farmed until moving to Prairie View last fall.

Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Marlene) Johnson, Garner; a son, Bill, Minneapolis; eight grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Henry Buseman, Klemme and Mrs. Rank Buss, Combs,Tex.; and a brother, Tom, Harlingen, Tex. A son, Dean, was killed on a motorcycle in 1965. A sister, Mrs. George Buseman, also preceded him in death.
