Albert L. Schau, Farmington, 86, a retired farmer, died at 4:00 p.m., January 2, at his home in Farmington, Iowa. He was born September 14, 1887, at Farmington, to Louis and Caroline Burgdorf Schau. He married Irene Norton on June 20, 1923, at Clarion. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Modern Woodmen of American, and had served on the Farmington Creamery Board.

Surviving are his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Robert Ick of Des Moines; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Wallingford of Keosauqua; and one grandchild. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral was held Saturday, Jan. 5 at 2:00 p.m. in United Methodist Church. Rev. Edw. Maus officiated. Burial was in Greenglade cemetery, Farmington.
