Funeral services for Peggy Joyce Myers of Blair were held Monday morning, Sept. 3, at the first Lutheran Church in Blair, Nebraska. Burial was at Magnolia Cemetery in Magnolia, Iowa.

Mrs. Myers was born July 9, 1938 in Logan, Iowa, and graduated from Woodbine, Iowa, High School. She graduated from Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska and received her Masters degree from Colorado State University. She taught school at Wayne State College, Humboldt and Eagle Grove high schools in Iowa, and most recently at Blair High school. She died Friday, August 31, at the Missouri Valley Hospital. She was 46.

Survivors include her daughters Traci and Misti Myers, parents John and Helen Plath of Logan, grandmother Mrs. Maude Plath of Logan, sister and brother-in-law Sonja and Denny Clanton of Omaha.

Pallbearers were Dennis Sellon, Roger Stender, Ray Ruzicka, R. D. Zimmerman Jr., John Little and Joe Palmesano. A prayer service was held Sunday evening, Sept. 2, at the Campbell Funeral Home in Blair.
