Edna A. Pralle was born November 25, 1906 to Charles and Mathilde (Rossow) Rasman at Ft. Dodge, Iowa. She was made a member of God's Kingdom through Holy Baptism on December 16, 1906, at St. John's Lutheran Church of Vincent, Iowa. During childhood she moved with her family to Cheyenne, Wyoming.

She was married to Rev. Henry Pralle on July 1, 1931. This union was blessed with the birth of two sons and three daughters. She served as a faithful help mate to her husband in his ministry as he served parishes at Sidney, Auburn, Amhurst, Arapahoe, and Campbell, Nebraska. They moved to Hastings upon his retirement in January of 1972. She was an active member of the Ladies Aid and Young at Hearts at Zion Lutheran Church.

She was called to her home in heaven on Monday March 20, 1989, at 82 years of age at her home, 2508 W. Fifth St. A sister and one grandson preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband, Rev. Henry Pralle; three daughters, Judith Clark of Kenesaw and Janice and Jane, both of Lincoln; two sons, Thomas of Rochester, Minn., and Jerome of Lincoln; three sisters, Florence Cobry and Lucile Lohse, both of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Esther Barth of Omaha; and six grandchildren.
