Final rites for Mrs. Ray (Inez) C. Gouger were held Monday at 10:30 am from the Scranton Church of Christ, Clarence Potter, evangelist, officiated. Mrs. Gouger, the former Inez Carrick of Bayard, died March 1 in St Anthony hospital in Carroll following a long illness. Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Carrick, she was born at Bayard December 28, 1926 she was married to Ray Gouger. They lived in Eagle Grove for several years and for the last 33 years they have lived in Scranton.

Besides her husband she is survived by sisters, Mrs. Guy (Eva) Jenks of Merrillville, Indiana, and Mrs. Thomas (Arlene) Elwood of Berkeley, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Earl Carrick.
