Curtis L. Pegg, 68, of Las Vegas, passed away Feb. 1, 2012. He was born Feb. 26, 1943 in Fort Wayne, Ind., and was a 22-year resident of Nevada. Curt was raised in Fort Wayne, Douglass, Kan., and Scranton, Iowa. Curt retired in 2005 and enjoyed travelling, spending summers in Iowa with family and friends, pursuing the perfect pork tenderloin, gold prospecting, relaxing with his cats, golfing, and studying the stock market. He was preceded in death by his parents, Chauncey and Helen (Hedges) Pegg. Curt is survived by his wife, of 47 years, Madelyn (Chris) Christensen of Las Vegas; son, Mark (Sue Ellen) Pegg of Lincoln, Neb.; daughter, Cindy (Bill Untiedt and his sons, C.J. and Victor) Jennings of Denver; brother, Ed (Connie) Pegg; nieces; nephews; and numerous friends.
