Johnston, Iowa --- Lola Mae Lees, 94, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Friday, June 29, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at McLaren's Chapel in West Des Moines, with a visitation starting at 9 a.m. Burial to follow the service at Resthaven Cemetery.

Lola was born May 18, 1924 in Goldfield, Iowa. She was the proud daughter of her loving parents, Lawrence and Mable Olson. She retired from McGladrey Hendrickson in 1983. Lola is survived by her daughter, Janet (Jerry) McBee, step-son Bob Lees Jr. and family, and daughter, Judy (Jack) Olson; grandchildren, Angie Bubak, Shane (Raven) Kline, Jill (Aaron) Bartholomay and Justin (Shae) Olson. She was blessed with seven great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Lola was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Lees; and her brother, Lester Olson.
