December 11, 1930 ---- March 31, 2014

Blanche Tuttle, beloved mother, grandmother and great grand-mother passed away on March 31, 2014. Four years have passed and she is still deeply missed.

Blanche was born in Galt, Iowa on December 11, 1930. She was the youngest of eight children born to Charles and Lena (Derkas) Borel. In 1950, she married Lawrence (Red) Tuttle and moved to Clarion, Iowa where they started their family. Together they had two daughters, Lynne and Rochelle (Shelley). They shared only 12 short years together when Lawrence unexpectedly passed away in 1962.

In 1964, she and her daughters moved to Seattle, WA. Once settled she began her career in commercial insurance until she retired in 1995. After retirement, she moved from Seattle to Mukilteo to be closer to family. She will always be remembered for her delicious baked goods.

Loved ones that have cleared the path for Blanche are parents, husband Lawrence and daughter Lynne. Loved ones that will miss Blanche are daughter Shelley, son-in-law Dennis Swanson, grandchildren Brett and wife Jamie and Alison Swanson, Corey, Les and wife Michelle, and Brandon Bowman and great-grandchildren Kason, Kayler, Logan and Lena. Since her passing, grandson Brandon wed Theresa; granddaughter Alison wed Bobby Gilbo and welcomed baby Isla; and grandson Brett and his wife Jamie, have since had their 3rd child, Ella.
