Verna Stryker dies in North Carolina
Verna Gereau Stryker, 68, former resident of Eagle Grove died July 24 [1988] at a hospital in Raleigh, N. C. where she had been a patient for the past several months. The funeral was held July 26 at the White Plains United Methodist Church, Cary, N. C. and burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery. She is survived by two sons, Robert G. Stryker, Cary, N. C.; S. Scott Stryker, Freeburg, Ill. and daughter, Mary Jo Goshall, Sherman Oaks, Calif, and 9 grandchildren. Verna was born in the Badger area and married Bob Stryker of Eagle Grove.
