June 29, 1926 ---- April 19, 2018

Zarilla (Zee) Mosher, 91, of Altoona, formerly of Eagle Grove, passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 19, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. Zee’s wishes were to be cremated and there will be a Celebration of Life in the near future. A private burial will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Eagle Grove.

Zee was born in Corning, Iowa, on June 29, 1926, to Elmer and Hattie (Hayes) Lemon. She had three brothers and one sister. She married Don Mosher on June 26, 1950, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. They had one daughter, Renee’. Zee held several jobs along with her favorite being a homemaker, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed sewing and being with her family.

Zee is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don; brothers, Rueben, Cecil, and Lester; and her sister, Bernice; many brother and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins; and friends; plus her beloved dog, Autumn, who will be buried with her. Survivors include her daughter, Renee’ (Mike) Schuck of Johnston; granddaughter, Erika Schuck of Altoona; grandson, Alex (Dee Harr) Schuck of Ankeny; Bella, her dog; sister-in-law, Irene Mosher of Clarion; special family Gaspar Msangi and his family, and Schola Inyang and her family; and many relatives and friends. Cards may be sent to Renee’ Schuck, 10415 Providence Dr. #101, Johnston, IA 50131. Memorials will be left to the discretion of the family.
