Peddle was uninjured. The Beyer car, a 1941 Ford tudor, suffered about $200 damages, while the estimated damage to the truck was $ 2,000. After the accident the truck loaded with cattle caught fire and the Dows Fire department was called. All the cattle were saved. Beyer is survived by his wife, three daughters and three sons.
