Ernest Christopher Meyer
3 November 1867 --- 1 November 1930E. C. Meyer Instantly Killed
The many friends of Mrs. G. A. Schutt of Wall Lake township were much grieved to learn of the death of her brother, Ernest C. Meyer of Williams, who was killed in an automobile accident near that place on November 1. Mr. Meyer was driving at a moderate rate of speed and apparently did not observe the approach of the Illinois Central passenger train in crossing highway No. 20 north of Williams. He was struck and instantly killed. Mr. Meyer was returning home from a visit with his sister.
