Millard Anderson Funeral Tuesday
Millard Hans Anderson, 76, died at his home in Eagle Grove early Saturday morning. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p. m. at the Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home with the Rev. Kay Mills of the Goldfield United Presbyterian Church officiating Burial was in Glenwood Cemetery at Goldfield. Mr. Anderson married Cleo Marie Carson at Eagle Grove in 1919. They lived in Goldfield and Des Moines before moving to Eagle Grove in 1957. He worked as a butcher for 20 years and later for the Firestone Company retiring in 1955. Surviving are his wife; a son, Dwight; five grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Clyde Westbrook of San Antonio, Texas, Mrs. Henry Freeman and Mrs. Lillian Durocher, both of Des Moines. A World War I veteran, he was a member of the American Legion Post.
