Funeral Of Wagner's Grandson Here Friday
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Wagner received word Sunday of the death of their grandson Richard Wagner, 8 years old of Woodland, Calif. He was sick only one day. He was the son of John Harris Wagner and Mrs. Molly Wagner. Funeral services will be here Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Evangelical Lutheran church.

Richard Lewis Wagner was born Oct. 25, 1955 in Prestwick, Scotland to John Harris and Molly Wagner and baptized into the Christian Faith on Dec. 16, 1955 at the Air Force Base Chapel in Prestwick, Scotland. At the age of 2 years he came with his parents to the United States. They resided on the Wagner farm north of Eagle Grove for 1 year, then moved to Las Vegas where his father re-entered the Air Force, then later moved to Woodland, Calif. He died Feb. 2 at the age of 8 years and 4 months in Woodland, Calif. He leaves to mourn his death, his parents, 2 step-sisters, 1 step brother, his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Wagner and Mr. and Mrs. John Beveridge and uncle of Scotland. A brief funeral service was held on Wednesday, Feb., 5th in Woodland, Calif, prior to returning his body to Eagle Grove. Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 7, 2:00 p.m. in the Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran church, Pastor Jordan Jacobsen, officiating. Burial was held in the Rose Hill Cemetery of Eagle Grove.
