7 May 1851 --- 14 December 1912

George William Russell Robinson was the son of William Robinson and Harriet Helmershausen. He was born in Franklin Grove, Lee County, Illinois. On September 13, 1873, George married Mary Spiller. They were married at the home of his twin sister, Mrs Frank Metzler (Georgiana). In 1874 he went in partnership with his father in a Drug Store in Franklin Grove. By 1910 George and Mary moved to Wright County, Iowa near Belmond. They were the parents of Lucy, William, Frank, Albert, and Roscoe Robinson.

The funeral took place at Belmond Monday afternoon and the remains were laid to rest in the Rowan cemetery. He was preceded in death by his sons William and Frank; his brother Henry, and his sister Georgianna.
