Delores F. Beto, 82, Salem, South Dakota, died Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at Avera McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Kinzley Funeral Home, Salem. She is survived by three daughters: Dianna Carroll and husband William, Wasilla, Alaska; Marsha Johnson and husband Ben, Salem; and Pamela Petersen and husband Larry, Watertown; and a brother, Kenneth Brinkman and wife Phyllis, Gilmore City, Iowa.

Delores F. Beto, 82, passed away May 3, 2011 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. A memorial service will begin at 2:00 pm on Sunday, May 8 at Kinzley Funeral Home in Salem. Delores Brinkman was born on January 17, 1929 to Harm and Lula (Whitten) Brinkman near Dows, IA. She grew up in the Dows area and attended school there. During her life Delores spent many years serving as a nurse’s aide. She enjoyed quilting and working on plastic canvas graphs. Another love of hers was hunting for asparagus. Delores is survived by: her three daughters, Dianna (William) Carroll of Wasilla, AK, Marsha (Ben) Johnson of Salem, SD, and Pamela (Larry) Petersen of Watertown, SD; 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; her brother, Kenneth (Phyllis) Brinkman of Gilmore City, IA; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Larry Davis, and five sisters, Darlene, Edna, Ruth, Irene, and Luella.
