7 February 1927 ---- 29 October 1931
Marjorie Viola Allie, 4, died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Felix Allie on Thursday, Oct. 29. Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon in the Baptist church with the Rev. James Overby in charge. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery. Peritonitis was the cause of the little girl's untimely passing.
Marjorie Viola, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Felix Allie, was born Feb. 7, 1927 and departed this life Oct. 29, 1931 at the age of four years, eight months and twenty-two days. She leaves to mourn her departure besides her father and mother, four sisters and three brothers, one brother having preceded her in death.
Marjorie was a very pleasant, lovable child, both to her own family and playmates. She was only sick for about forty-eight hours. During this time she submitted to a serious operation at noon of the second day of her sickness, from which she never fully regained consciousness. Marjorie was only privileged a few days with us, but won a place in our hearts that never can be filled.
