Services Held for Mrs. Fred (Lillian Merle) McCullough

Mrs. Fred (Lillian Merle) McCullough, a resident of Prairie City for 2 years and a long time resident of Colfax, died Sunday at the Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. Services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Walters Funeral Home in Colfax. The Rev. David McNeely, pastor of the Colfax Assembly of God Church, conducted the services. Burial was in Greencastle cemetery.

Survivors are a brother, Wendell Patterson of Flushing, Ohio; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and two sisters.

The daughter of James R. and Frances Janet Williams Patterson, she was born May 22, 1907 [sic 1902] [in Dows, Wright County, Iowa]. The organist was Miss Eleanor Howell; Pallbearers were James Borts, Joe Borts, LeRoy Borts, Dwaine Bos, Jack Good, Floyd Gorman. Flowers: Miss Joyce Borts, Miss Karen Gorman.
