Patricia Anne (Fisher) Mendenhall passed away peacefully in her sleep March 8, 2018 at Trinity Center at the age of 88. She was born August 7, 1929 at Jewell, Iowa to Elfrey Lyle Fisher and Getta Louise (Larson) Fisher. She was baptized August 18, 1929 at Samuel Lutheran Church, Eagle Grove, Iowa where she attended school and graduated from Eagle Grove High with her 7 childhood best friends. Pat moved to Des Moines where she met the love of her life, Russell Roy Mendenhall, and married on March 25, 1951. She retired from government service as the personal secretary to the Secretary of Agriculture, State of Iowa, ASCS Office.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother, Robert Fisher, and sisters, Dorothy Brown, and Jeanette Nibe. She is survived by daughter, Deborah Anne (David) Collins, Urbandale, Iowa, and grandchildren, Steven Michael (Rachel) Collins, Olathe, Kansas, and Christy Suzanne Collins, Emmett, Michigan. A private family committal of cremains will be Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines, Iowa. ARRANGEMENTS BY ILES ~ WESTOVER CHAPEL.
