SANTA MARIA, CALIF. - Services for Milford J. Mann, 77, of Santa Maria will be Saturday at McLaren's Funeral Home in West Des Moines, with burial at Resthaven Cemetery there. He died of a heart ailment Monday at home. Mr. Mann who was born in Clarion, Ia., spent most of his life in Des Moines until moving to California in the mid-1970s. He worked in the purchasing department at Meredith Corp. until retirement and was a member of First Christian Church in Santa Maria.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda; a daughter, Nancy Davison of Wichita, Kan.; three sons, Frank and John, both of San Diego, and Dennis of West Des Moines; two stepdaughters, Sherry Stendhal of Sheridan, Ore., and Terry Toney of Silver Springs, Md.; a sister, Anna Sherbo of West Des Moines; a brother, Albert of Des Moines; 16 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 3 step-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
