Roxanne Marie (Smith) Richard, 61, passed away February 5, 2018 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines after a battle with cancer. Visitation will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12, 2018, at New Covenant Christian Church in Fort Dodge with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 4 p.m.

Roxanne is survived by her children: Jesse (Jenny) Richard of Ankeny, Tracy Richard of Spencer; 6 grandchildren; siblings: Wanda (Steve) Woodbeck of Eagle Grove, Mike Smith of Fort Dodge; step-siblings: Terri Jo Gribble of Florida, Kirby Smith of Fort Dodge, and Tressi Ayala of Fort Dodge. She is preceded in death by her parents Joe and Mavis Smith, her brother Bob Smith, and many friends and family.

Roxanne enjoyed studying the bible, keeping a journal and reading. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. She spent many years advocating for life with Silent No More and sharing her faith with everyone she met. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
