Last rites were held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock in Sacred Heart Church for Mrs. Alfred Trausch, who died February 28 at her home southeast of Eagle Grove. Rev. James Slowey officiated at the mass, and burial was in Calvary cemetery.

Mrs. Trausch is survived by her husband and eight children, Francis Trausch, Donald Trausch, Mrs. Kirk Lewis, Mrs. Howard Studer, Everett, Richard, Elizabeth and Helen Trausch, also three sisters, Mrs. Rose Peterson of Eagle Grove, Mrs. Margaret Smith of Fort Dodge and Mrs. Edgar Pringle of Webster City; two brothers, Matt Fischer of Eagle Grove and Tony Fischer of Woolstock.

Mrs. Trausch whose maiden name was Elizabeth M. Fischer was born March 29th, 1891, in Woolstock township. She was united in marriage on Jan. 18th, 1916 to Alfred Trausch. Eleven children were born to this union, eight of whom survive.

Out-of-town relatives who attended the funeral were, the son Everett, who is in basic training at Fort Riley, Kans. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Pringle of Webster City; Mrs. Margaret Smith, Fort Dodge; Mrs. Barbara Nemitz, New Richland, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Ben Doering, Edwards, Ill.; Mrs. Emma Hanlon, Edwards, Ill.; and Mrs. Helen Kirchgessner, Peoria, Illinois.
