EAGLE GROVE HOLDS FUNERAL SERVICES FOR WALTER G. MUTZ

Eagle Grove, April 1 - Funeral services for Walter G. Mutz, 60, were held at his residence, conducted by the Rev. Floyd D. Reeves of the Congregational church. Burial was in Oakland cemetery at Fort Dodge, which was his home for several years. A short service was conducted at the grave in Fort Dodge, conducted by Dr. W. O. Harless of the First Presbyterian church. He was born in Covington, Ohio, coming to Fort Dodge at the age of 29, where he was employed by the American Express company. He came to Eagle Grove in 1909. After leaving the Express company, he was engaged in the grocery business here for a number of years. Besides his widow he leaves one son, Carl, and a daughter, Mary, now Mrs. Willis Meyers of Waterloo, and one brother, W. E. Mutz in Fort Dodge.
