Mary enjoyed watching and attending sporting events and cheering on the Eagles, Hawkeyes, Packers, and Cubs. She loved reading, golfing, gardening, canning, knitting, scrap booking, and watching her favorite T.V. programs – The Waltons and Little House On The Prairie. One of her favorite past times was doing trivia games including cross word puzzles and watching Jeopardy. Mary cherished spending time with her beloved husband sitting on the patio listening to the birds. She was involved in many community organizations including Equality Club, Book Club, Garden Club, and Culinary Arts Club. Mary dedicated her life serving the Lord at Sacred Heart Catholic Church; she was a Bible study leader, lector, eucharistic minister, served on the Altar Society and Social Concerns Committee and Guild. We knew Mary as a selfless wife, mother, sister, and friend.
