Ardis Deborah Quello Bergfald, 93, died on Sunday, August 27, at her home in Laguna Hills, California. Funeral services were held at the Lutheran Church of the Cross and Pastors Ellman, Bartlett, and Witkop officiated during the service. Greg Kirby was the organist and soloist was Carrol Kent.

Ardis Deborah Quello Bergfald was born October 27, 1902, in Chicago, Illinois, to the Reverend Julius A. and Marie Quello. Ardis was one of five children. She was baptized and raised in the Christian faith in the Lutheran Church. She and Oren T. Bergfald were married June 11, 1927, and to this union two children were born. They were married 54 years. She had been a member of the P.E.O., A.A.U.W. and Ebell. Survivors include one daughter, Jeanne Schnakenberg; one son, Thomas Bergfald; five grandchildren; two brothers, Dr. Robert Quello and Reverend Victor Quello; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reverend Julius and Marie Quello; one sister, Esther Quello; and one brother, Reverend Julius Quello.
