Arthur Alexander Funeral Wednesday At Samuel Lutheran
Arthur Alexander, 70, rural Eagle Grove, died Sunday at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Dodge where he had been a patient for one day. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p m at Samuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Marvin Dooley officiating. Burial was in Norway Cemetery in Humboldt County. Mr. Alexander is survived by his wife, two sisters, Miss Emma Alexander of Story City and Mrs. Ole Maage of Eagle Grove. Mr. Alexander was born and reared on the family farm six miles southwest of Eagle Grove and lived there all of his life. In 1935 he married Edith Kinseth. He retired in 1965 but continued to live on the farm.
